Giclées

GCL	Giclée	Giclée Editions are available in a variety of sizes on either paper or canvas, offering exceptional quality and versatility. Printed digitally on 240gsm matt paper (gsm = grams per square metre), these editions feature vibrant, rich colours, and a flawless, velvety texture. For a glossy finish, photography is printed on 270gsm photographic paper. Our canvas prints use 350gsm textured cotton-polyester blend, ensuring durability and a superior finish.

Canvas Finishes

We can offer 3 different types of finishing for the canvas border; Museum being the standard.
Borders are 2 ins (5 cms). We supply canvas unstretched.

On Demand Media Options

Rosenstiels prides itself on being able to produce all of our images, where copyright permission has been granted to us, in many different ways and to almost any size the customer requires. We have three standards of Print on Demand products, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Pricing is determined by the size of the image and the substrate onto which it is printed. Our experts are on hand to provide bespoke advice on customising printing so that the finished product fulfils your exact requirements.

Print On Demand (The Bronze Option)

Images are printed on either matt smooth 240gsm paper, matt textured 200gsm paper, 270gsm photographic paper, or 350gsm canvas. Paper is offered as full bleed (no white border), canvas has a museum 2 inch (5cm) white border as standard. We also offer colour wrap, mirror effect, and gallery wrap for canvas.

Deluxe Print On Demand (The Silver Option)

All artwork is printed on a deluxe textured fine art paper, which is bright white in colour. This textured fine art paper has a raised matt coating which has been specially designed for high-quality, fine art, and the excellent bright white base with a 255gsm weight creates an archival quality paper with an incredible colour range. All photographic subjects are printed on deluxe 310gsm photographic paper, which delivers a highly saturated result by offering maximum ink coverage and a high D-Max for true photographic reproductions. The lustre surface recreates a traditional finish which has been favoured by leading professional photographers. This paper is engineered to give both the highest resolution and colour-saturation possible. Customers may also opt for a matt smooth 285gsm paper, or 405gsm canvas.

Art on Demand is our premium bespoke service, drawing on the highest quality craftsmanship. Utilising Rosenstiels’s exclusive Gouttelette^® Process, our art is printed to your exact specifications, with complete flexibility in size, shape, and material. Standard substrates include 310gsm paper or 450gsm canvas (primarily cotton with a sustainable varnish finish). Additional options such as Belgian linen, silk, metal, wood, glass, acetate, acrylic and vinyl are available upon request.

Sizes provided are as accurate as can be reasonably provided. However, dimensions should be viewed as a rough guide only. Please do not manufacture or order frames based purely on sizes provided on this website. Rosenstiels reserve the right to change sizes when reprinting.
